Jennifer Garner has baby girl

Alias star Jennifer Garner has given birth to a girl.

The child is the first for the actress and her husband Ben Affleck who appeared in he films Pearl Harbour and Daredevil together.

Their publicists, Ken Sunshine and Nicole King, said: "Mother, father [who the process is particularly difficult for!] and baby are doing great," the BBC reports.
