The Game is the latest US rapper turning his attention to Hollywood.

The former G-Unit rhymer has signed up to play a mean criminal leader called Meat in forthcoming movie, Waist Deep. The urban action-thriller, directed by Vondie Curtis-Hall who helmed the disasterous Mariah Carey flick Glitter (bet he loves that being mentioned), tells the story of an ex-con trying to go straight.

The movie - which will also star Meagan Good (The Cookout), Larenz Tate (Crash) and Tyrese - should be with us sometime in 2006.
