McConaughey is sexiest man alive

He may have not had much luck at the box office but Matthew McConaughey is still a sight for sore eyes according to People magazine.

The Sahara star has been named the US magazine's Sexiest Man Alive, beating Desperate Housewives hunk James Denton and Lost actor Matthew Fox into second and third respectively.

"He's pretty much the perfect package," said People magazine spokesman Julie Jordan. Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Terrence Howard and Vince Vaughn were lagging way behind McConaughey whose next appearance on the big screen will be in 30-something rom-com Failure To Launch alongside Sarah Jessica Parker.
