The new Dr Who, David Tennant, has responded to scurrilous rumours concerning his sexuality by frequenting the theatre with Lady Penelope.
The 34-year-old Tennat has apparently fallen for Sophia Myles, 25, who starred as Lady Penelope in last year's Thunderbirds movie. The pair attended the opening night of Richard E Grant's new West End show, Otherwise Engaged, where they were spotted in a passionate embrace.
"They were behaving just like a pair of teenagers snuggling up and laughing during the nude scenes," a source is quoted as saying in the Daily Mirror.
They later went for a meal at plush London restaurant Cocoon, before sharing a ride home – but not in the Tardis.
