Following one last score, arch jewel thief Max Burdett (a suitably suave Pierce Brosnan) and his sexy paramour and accomplice Lola Cirillo (an even more delectable than normal Salma Hayek) have retired to the sun-kissed beaches of the Bahamas for a simple life of sun, sand and sex.
Or have they? For while Lola seems intent on going straight, the reappearance of Burdett's nemesis, FBI agent Stan Lloyd (Woody Harrelson), and the emergence of a cruise ship carrying a famous diamond, has the debonair rogue thinking about pulling on his heist gloves once more.
With a storyline that is as transparent as some of the clothing on display, After The Sunset is a thoroughly enjoyable romp, providing you're willing to shut the critical side of your brain off for a couple of hours. Brosnan makes another compelling case for improving with age, some of his interplay with Harrelson displaying a hitherto unseen comedic talent.
Like the stunning scenery that surrounds her, Salma Hayek is little more than eye candy - she pulls this off with effortless ease, mind - and you're left in little doubt that this is really Brosnan's vehicle.
Extras include; audio commentary with director Brett Ratner, Before, During And After the Sunset & Interview With A Jewel Thief documentaries, blooper reel, deleted/alternate scenes with optional director commentary, music video, DVD-Rom script to screen.
