Best thing: atmosheric cinematography
Worst Thing: bit too long
Review: Excellent film. Captivating storyline with different levels of sub-text excellently executed visually creating atmosheric reality throughout. The grim and frightening war images were made more poignant by the salubrious country life of the pre-war aristocracy, all under-pinned by Robbies fatal misfortunes, more powerfully told because of how close he was to being in ecstatic happiness.
