  The year may not even be over yet but the awards season has begun, as this weekend the Los Angeles Film Critics Association announced their winners. 'Best Film' went to Clint Eastwood's "Letters From Iwo Jima" (which tells the tale of the famous World War Two battle from the Japanese perspective), but it was the UK's "The Queen" which won the most awards; Helen Mirren was 'Best Actress', Michael Sheen was 'Best Supporting Actor', screenwriter Peter Morgan took the award for 'Best Screenplay', and Alexandre Desplat won for his score.
