For all the talk of "A Nightmare on Elm Street" redux, Warner Bros. and New Line have given the green light to this project and announced the release date of April 16, 2010. Everyone's favourite dream demon, Freddy Krueger, will be brought back kicking and screaming (lots of screaming no doubt) by music video director Samuel Bayer and is based on a script by Wesley Strick.
