Synopsis

B. MONKEY is the story of B., a wild and beautiful young girl, and Alan, the passionate and romantic young schoolteacher who falls head over heels in love with her. Now known as "Beatrice" to all but the violent Bruno and the decadent Paul, B. dreams of escaping the criminal world and the rush that comes from living on the edge. Meeting Alan makes this dream possible. He offers her love and security; with him, perhaps, she can finally make a change and be safe. For an idyllic few months, the two lovers cling to the belief that a fresh start is possible - until secrets from B's dark past begin to bleed into her new life. Now, they're not just living on the edge - they're in danger of falling off.
