After reading many reviews, I had to see this movie for myself. As the story developed all I could see was the brokeness of these two men, the deception that they continued over so many years. The cruelness with which the blonder one treated his wife who obviously loved him very dearly not to mention his fits of violent outbursts of uncontrollable anger. Pardon me for being so naive, but is it any wonder these two BI-SEXUAL (not gay) men are so confused and caused so much hurt and pain to others. Far from being societies fault for not accepting them, they also had a responsiblity to the children that they chose to procreate and to their wives who nobody forced them to marry. I felt really sorry for their wives who deserved much better. Really and truly I thought it was the worst story I have ever seen although from a psychologists point of veiw, considering their background and the few hints about their childhood, it is quite obvious why the behaved the way they did. Having said all of that, I was very sorry that Jack Twist met his death so tragically at the hands of some ignorant rednecks, who believe that they have the God given right to play God in somebody elses live.
