Leonardo DiCaprio sure knows how to get over an ‘Oscar snub’.
Many felt the poor lamb was dreadfully unlucky not to get a nomination at the 2013 Oscars for ‘Django Unchained’, but if Leo was annoyed, we’re sure spending a day on a yacht filled with five bikini-clad beauties cheered him up a bit.
He was re-shooting scenes for Martin Scorsese’s new film ‘The Wolf Of
Wall Street’ the day after Sunday’s ceremony. He’s playing Jordan
Belfort, a real-life stockbroker who made millions on Wall Street,
before being convicted of various financial crimes.
In this particularly scene, DiCaprio was joined by co-star Margot Robbie (she’s in the gold swimsuit). She plays Belfort's second wife, Nadine.
While Leo sunned himself on the poop deck, his ‘Django Unchained’ stars were (quite possibly) recovering from their Oscar hangovers.
DiCaprio skipped the Academy Awards ceremony on Sunday, and so missed director/writer Quentin Tarantino collect a Best original Screenplay Oscar for ‘Django Unchained’. Co-star Christophe Waltz also won a Best Supporting Actor award, though many critics felt Leo gave a superior performance – as evil slave owner Calvin Candy.
‘The Wolf Of Wall Street’ is released later this year.
