An Italian TV station has aired the film Brokeback Mountain for the first time, but with one noticable difference. All the love scenes between Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal's characters had been cut!
The station which ran the 2005 film has been accused of homophobia and film censorship after editing out the two love scenes between the male characters and not the love scenes between the male and female characters, completely distorting Ang Lee's film.
The President of Gaynet has commented on the story saying, "The need to change a film about homosexual love into a film about simple male friendship says a lot about the current cultural climate."

but that must make the film about half an hour long!!!either watch it full or dont bother what a waste of time and money.
