He says: "On ['Prisoner of Azkaban'] I went 'OK, yes this is what I want to do. I want to be an actor'. ['Prisoner Of Azkaban'] was when I made that decision."

By this point, he had already gone through a gruelling audition process and made two blockbuster movies... Better late than never, eh Daniel?

'Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban' director Alfonso Cuarón might have an explanation for his late decision. He revealed that Radcliffe "was so insecure" whilst on set and would constantly be worried with his performance.

The director recalled harrowing conversations with the young actor where a 15-year-old Radcliffe would say: "I think I'm doing everything wrong".

Cuarón was forced to comfort the youngster telling him to "just be yourself".

Not fantastic advice for an actor playing a tormented teenager with magical powers and a deadly feud with a reincarnated evil wizard, but we guess it must have worked.

'The Harry Potter Wizard's Collection', featuring all eight films, some never-before-seen content and a bunch of memorabilia, is out now.
