Bonham Carter in talks for Suffragette
Actress wanted for feminist period drama.
Rumour has it Helena Bonham Carter is considering joining the cast of Sarah Gavron's Suffragette.
The period movie will tell the true tale of the early feminist movement, focussing on the frontlines as women turned to violence in order to get their voices heard.

Carey Mulligan is already signed to the project, and will star as a young Suffragette footsoldier. It is not yet known which part Bonham Carter is wanted to play.
The film, which has been in development since 2011, will be produced by Faye Ward and Alison Owen and executive produced by Film4′s Katherine Butler and Pathe’s Cameron McCracken.
Bonham Carter will next be seen playing the Fairy Godmother in Disney's Cinderella, while Mulligan's Inside Llewyn Davis opens in January - check out the trailer below:
