As the Cheyenne nation embarks on a long, arduous trek back to Wyoming, the land of their forefathers from which they were displaced, the US Government sends troops to cut them off and turn them back to Oklahoma, until a sympathetic white captain convinces the Secretary of the Interior to show compassion.
