Chef Exclusive Trailer - Jon Favreau and Robert Downey Jr Reunite

Jon Favreau serves up delicious new comedy.

'Iron Man' director Jon Favreau leads an all-star cast in his latest film. In an exclusive brand-new UK trailer of the feel-good ensemble piece, Favreau portrays LA head chef Carl Casper, who is fired by his controlling boss (Dustin Hoffman) when an altercation with a particularly cutting food critic (Oliver Platt) is filmed and goes viral.

The internet, eh?

Heading back to his roots in Miami, Casper buys a food truck in a bid to regain his creative freedom in the kitchen while reconnecting with his estranged family.

Modern Family’s Sofia Vergara stars as Casper’s ex-wife and close friend who encourages him to live out his dreams, while Scarlett Johansson and Robert Downey Jr complete the heavyweight cast.

Yes, the 'Avengers' have assembled once again, but this time in the kitchen.

Produced and distributed independently by Favreau, 'Chef' is a far more low key affair compared to his previous directorial box offices blockbusters such as 'Iron Man', 'Iron Man 2'.

Chef has already been making waves with US critics, currently holding 88% ‘certified fresh’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 92 reviews.

The film is released in UK cinemas on 25 June 2014.
