Marion Cotillard looks set to play a chambermaid in a new movie.
The Oscar-winning La Vie En Rose actress is currently in talks about the role in Diary Of A Chambermaid, which is based on Octave Mirbeau's classic novel, reports Variety.
Producer Jean-Pierre Guerin said Rust And Bone star Marion has met with director Benoit Jacquot and is looking forward to reading the script of the film.
If the actress signs up, she will play Celestine, an ambitious young woman who works as a chambermaid for rich families from 1890 to 1900.
The book has been adapted for the big screen before, in 1946 and 1964.
