Compared to Neil Marshall's earlier films 'Dog Soldiers' and 'Descent' (both of which I enjoyed hugely) I found this to be disappointing and derivative.
Maybe he's been typecast as a horror movie guy, but what made his other films interesting wasn't the blood and guts stuff, it was the novel stories and interesting characters - which are developed as the film goes along. Remember your roots Neil, you're a talented film maker.
