Eddie Murphy returns, as the man who can talk to the animals, in this 2001 sequel to the 1998 smash hit family flick.

When the good Doctor (Murphy) gets summoned to see the head Beaver of a local woodland (in an amusing, gangster-inspired sketch), he finds out that the whole area is due to be felled and sold by an unscrupulous businessman. As he fights to get a preservation order imposed on the region, Dolittle stumbles upon a plan that might just do the trick.

A rare female bear lives in the woods but she needs a male partner to be deemed important enough to save the area. Dolittle recruits a male of the species from the circus, but can he convince his Ursidae friend to relocate to the country and help him save the day?

Extras include the director's commentary, deleted scenes, four featurettes, music videos and storyboards.
