DVD Review

We've experienced high-spirited teenage hi-jinks in Road Trip, we've enjoyed a regression to college days in Old School and we've witnessed some rather unnatural acts committed with baked goods in American Pie. Now the genre is coming to Europe as a gang of hormonally-ravaged youngsters try to get some life lessons on this side of the pond.

Scott Thomas (Scott Mechlowicz) is your all-American teen who, in a fit of rage after being publicly humiliated by his ex-girlfriend, tells his German penpal never to email him again when he misreads a romantic signal, thinking 'Mieke' to be a bloke. It turns out though that Mieke is a very cute blonde so cue a mad dash across the pond to try and apologise and make things right. Coming along for the ride is Scott's pal Cooper (Jacob Pitts) and their friends, the twin pairing of Jamie (Travis Wester) and Jenny (Michelle Trachtenberg). Europe, watch out...

Featuring cameos from Matt Damon and Vinnie Jones and packed full of saucy and suitably juvenile gags, this should appeal to most all of the Road Trip generation.

Extras include a party commentary, deleted scenes, an alternate ending and a gag reel.
