    Emily VanCamp to star in Captain America sequel.

    Emily VanCamp - best known for her role in ABC TV series 'Revenge' has been confirmed as the female lead in the new Disney movie, 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier'.

    VanCamp will be joining Chris Evans, reprising his role as the titular superhero alongside Toby Jones and Samuel L Jackson. Also starring is Anthony Mackie who is set to play Falcon.

    The movie, which is set to open in April 2014 is being directed by the Russo brothers,  Joe and Anthony.

    And while plot details are being kept secret there are rumours that VanCamp will be playing Sharon Carter, a descendant of Captain America's love interest, Peggy Carter who was portrayed by Hayley Atwell in the first movie.
