Exclusive: new Byzantium trailer
New footage from Neil Jordan’s sexy vampire drama starring Gemma Arterton and Saoirse Ronan.
There will be blood in our exclusive new trailer for Neil Jordan’s vampire epic ‘Byzantium’.
Gemma Arterton and Saoirse Ronan star as Clara and Eleanor - a mother-and-daughter duo of 200-year-old vampires who seek refuge in a run-down English seaside town.

Before long the sensitive Eleanor befriends the gaunt Caleb Landry Jones, while Clara shacks up with Daniel Mays’ good-for-nothing hotel owner and turns the titular resort into a gory bordello. The fun doesn’t last forever though, as knowledge of their secret spreads their past catches up on them with deathly consequence.
As you’d expect from a Neil Jordan flick - he helmed the Oscar-nominated ‘Interview With The Vampire’ and ‘The Crying Game’ - this looks sexy, bloody and thought-provoking.
‘Byzantium’ is released in the UK on 31 May.
