Finding North 1999

Travis Furlong stands naked on the ledge of the Brooklyn bridge, on the verge of suicide. Rhonda Portelli a Brooklyn-born bank teller, is caught in the traffic jam with her two best friends. She sees an unknown man about to jump off the bridge and she rushes from the car to save him, but when she gets to him, he is gone, presumed dead, one Hush Puppy loafer left by the rail. Monday morning, and Rhonda is late for work. It could be a day like any other, only this is her thirtieth birthday and an impromptu celebration (complete with a male stripper) gets out of control. Simultaneously, Travis, the man she thought was dead, reenters her life. In the ensuing chaos she gets fired, and her life, which had always been predictable and safe, suddenly changes, spiralling out of control.
