One of John Carpenter's classic chillers comes to DVD and it's just as terrifying now as it was when it first hit the scene back in 1980.
It concentrates on the small Californian coastal town of Antonio Bay, which is preparing to celebrate the anniversary of it's founding - but what the current resident's don't know is the terrible secret that haunts the town. However they'll soon find out as a eerie fog blankets the area and those wronged all those years ago return for their revenge.
This is one of those movies which has probably got better with age. While too many films these days are all about the body count and how much blood can be splattered on screen, The Fog keeps you guessing while the mist itself is the perfect place for things that go bump in the night to hide.
This set also features some superb extras, including an audio commentary from director John Carpenter and producer Deborah Hill, two documentaries about the film, outtakes and a photo gallery.
