BATMAN LEGENDS PAST & PRESENT
The many changing faces of Batman and his crowd of regulars first appeared in 1939 as cartoon characters. Since then, a TV series and seven films have paid homage to DC Comics' most successful hero.
For those who don’t know the story, after witnessing the murder of his parents, Bruce Wayne trains for physical perfection to become the best crime-fighting machine on the streets of fictional Gotham City, and he looks pretty good in a bat suit too!
Over the years Batman has been joined by a host of characters including Robin, the Joker, Harvey Dent, Two-Face, Batgirl and many more. He’s been played by actors from George Clooney to Val Kilmer and now he’s back in a new guise…
