Crisis averted! Wind and rain made a rare appearance at this year’s Academy Awards ceremony, but the clever organisers were on hand with plastic covers to make sure the red carpet stayed dry and wind-free; well we can’t have drowned rats in stilettos at the Oscars dah-ling!
Red was the colour of the evening with Heidi Klum, Anne Hathaway and Ruby Dee taking the same tip from the stylists. While George Clooney caused a stir when he took his cocktail waitress girlfriend, Sarah Larson to the Oscar ceremony.

HIT: We’re not entirely sure how Marion Cotillard pulled off this fish-come-duvet inspired dress, but she did. On any other star it probably wouldn’t have worked, but one thing French actress Marion doesn’t do, is play it safe, and for that we salute her.
