Isla Fisher could be joining John Hawkes and Jennifer Aniston in the as-yet untitled adaptation of Elmore Leonard's novel The Switch.
The Wedding Crashers actress is in talks to star in the crime drama, a prequel to Quentin Tarantino's film Jackie Brown, Variety reported.
The tale sees career criminals (played by John and Yasiin Bey) team up to kidnap Jennifer's character, the wife of a corrupt property developer, whose husband refuses to pay a ransom.
Isla would play manipulative Melanie, the same character played by Bridget Fonda in Jackie Brown.
Production is set to start in February.
