Easily the best of the four wizard movies so far, The Goblet Of Fire will even give non Potter fans a little entertainment, if only because the kids have toned down the precocious acting routine.

Troubled by nightmares, Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) is growing up and facing more dangerous adventures, namely the Tri-Wizarding tournament. It's where the international cream of the uber-talented young wizard crop compete against each other to lift a magic trophy. Harry, being the best wizard Hogwarts school has seen for many years, is his country's obvious choice. But, not only does he compete against the best of the rest, he's also faced with tackling his personal demons once more, namely evil Lord Voldemort.

As well as old favourites such as Professor Dumbledore (Michael Gambon) and Hagrid (Robbie Coltrane), new faces are also introduced with Ralph Fiennes taking up the role of evil Lord Voldemort, and Brandon Gleeson becoming Mad Eye Moody.

Dark and mystical, with breathtaking cinematography, director Mike Newell's first Potter effort follows the book closely, for which true fans will be grateful. And geeks will appreciate the improvement in the special effects department, particularly the spellbinding scenes with dragons.

DVD extras include Conversations with the cast, fun interactive challenges, making-of and behind-the-scenes featurettes including: Harry vs. the Horntail: The First Task plus great DVD-ROM features including: EA Game Demo and much more.
