A film where everyone involved forgot that this was a film, not a stage play. Appalling overacting, and pretentious,self-serving bilge. The sexual aspect of the story made for very uncomfortable viewing with teachers and students propositioning each other. The fact this was homosexual is irrelevant. It would have been equally uncomfortable in a heterosexual setting too. I think the point of the film was for us to have sympathy with the characters, but I had none. I'd have given it no stars but that wasn't an option, but in A-level terms this ranks as unclassified.
Avoid.
