Back in the mid-1980's a host of films about body-swapping swamped the cinemas. Now, almost two decades later Rob Schneider has evidently decided that you can never get too much of a 'good' thing and so The Hot Chick was born.

Jessica Spencer (Rachel McAdams) is, in all honesty, a bit of a bitch. Beautiful, blonde and captain of her High School cheerleading team, Jess doesn't have a great deal of time for those less perfect than herself but she's about to get a major reality check. Thanks to a pair of magic Abyssinian earrings, Jess switches bodies with a 30-year-old lowlife criminal (Schneider) and has until the next full moon to try and work out how to switch back. In the meantime the transformed crook finds that he's got a couple of new assets to work with.

Over the course of his career Schneider has consistently aimed at the lowest-common denominator and The Hot Chick is no different. Adam Sandler appears in his usual cameo while gags about body parts and crass physical humour are the order of that day but it's the kind of thing Schneider fans lap up so The Hot chick should be right up their street.
