Harry Potter star Emma Watson poses nude for the environment

Getting naked is attention grabbing in anyone’s book. No wonder then that actress Emma Watson has agreed to appear nude, for an actual book, raising awareness of environmental issues.

Green-minded Emma posed naked for New York based photographer James Houston’s new project, ‘Natural Beauty’ - a collection of portraits of environmentally conscious celebrities.

The 22-year-old ‘Harry Potter’ star appears nude and wet in a series of arty, but provocative pics, with nothing but a few flowers and some careful cropping for modesty.

Emma first posted this picture from her Twitter account, @EmWatson, telling her 6 million follwers: "My friend is supporting GlobalGreenUSA with his book Natural Beauty. It's out now. : ) X"

Other celebrities involved in Houston’s campaign include Christy Turlington, Adrian Grenier, Brooke Shields, Arizona Muse and Elle Macpherson.

“This project merges my longtime interest in the human form and my passion for the natural world,” said Houston, “‘Natural Beauty’ was created to celebrate the beauty of nature, emphasising what we still have versus what we have lost.”

He added: “I hope to raise environmental awareness among the younger audience through this project.”

Proceeds from ‘Natural Beauty’ will go towards environmental initiatives for Global Green USA. You can see a trailer for the project, here.

Determined to shed the squeaky clean ‘Potter’ image, Emma Watson will be going on a crime spree as a fame-obsessed teenager in Sophia Coppola’s upcoming ‘The Bling Ring’, out later this year.
