Review

Raiders of the Lost Ark. Great. Temple of Doom. Slightly corny, but still pretty great. The Last Crusade. Fantastic. Kingdom of the Crystal Skull? Eww. This film is actually a disgrace to the Indiana Jones saga.

My first point is the appalling storyline. Yet another obsessive alien theme from Steven Speilberg, who must be getting a tad bored of the little green men. In addition to this, the whole story begins with some half-assed Russians breaking into Area 51 (yeah right!) then stealing an alien corpse. Why? Because the Reds want some magnetic skull which can do practically nothing. Okay.

The characters. My, my, what a bunch. You got ole' Indiana Jones, who should probably require a walking stick for this movie. His stunts, voice; his whole character has just been drained of life, and not like the wisecracking one we used to know (his new jokes really suck, by the way). Then, you got his son. A really annoying biker-of-a-son who you really want to reach into the screen and impale for being so awful in 'Transformers'.

And the worst part? He didn't even say "Snakes, why does it always have to be snakes?"...
