It's Always Fair Weather (1955) 1955

Three soldiers return from World War II service in 1945 and rejoice and celebrate all the way to New York. They make a pact to reunite 10 years later at the same bar and recount their lives since. When they do so, each discovers that it has been no bed of roses: they've all become failures. Eventually, a TV newswoman gets wind of their story and tries to exploit it as a human interest piece.
