There have been numerous body swap comedies prior to this one. Big, Vice Versa, Freaky Friday, Like Father Like Son, Switch, Prelude To A Kiss, 13 Going On 30 to name but a few.

What's different about this one then? Well, next-door neighbours Woody Deane the school hunk and Nell Bedworth the school geek have nothing at all in common and in fact despise each other. So it would be a real shock for these two to end up switching bodies of course. Cue much hilarity. Well, a bit of mild hilarity at least as they set about trying to destroy each other's images and reputations at school.

But there's a bit of a twist here. Suffice to say an unlikely romance develops. Stranger than that is Sharon Osbourne appearing in the movie as the mother of the lead male character! Apparently Elton John recommended her. Well, he must have some serious clout in Hollywood because she is not a Meryl Streep in the making.

That aside, as body swapping movies go there have been worse.
