Review

Stephen Spielberg has become quite ham-fisted and overly dramatic in recent times, but this shows him at the peak of his career.

Tightly scripted, excellent acting, well-paced and brilliantly shot. Only the mechanical shark lets the movie down, but probably helps build suspense since you don't see it anywhere nearly as often as you might with modern CGI.

A must-see.
