What a complete let down. I mean really, from all the hype this movie was getting I thought surely this would be the blockbuster of the year. The next X-men (the first one obviously) or something of the sort. Instead it follows the theme so many other ‘comic book’ movies are following. All hype, no story. This moving was all about the Jumping, and never about the Pacing. In Jumper there was so much potential for amazing twists and turns that would really keep you on the edge of your seat. Sadly they were all replaced by special effects and lighting. Does this all ruin the movie? No not by any means. There were still times I laughed, and gasp, and wanted to shout at the screen. I was probably just more disappointed than I was not entertained. If you like those comic-booky type of movies and like others don’t expect much out of them anymore, then I can guarantee you’ll like this movie. If you admire and worship the written word and hate to see books completely ruined for the sake of a movie I would turn away as fast as you could jump. ;) I do just hope my review has saved you the trouble of the let down like I felt. If can at least help one of you, I’ve done my job. :)
