Jennifer Lawrence to quit acting?

Being one of Hollywood's most in-demand actresses is a hardship most of us can only dream of. But it seems that Jennifer Lawrence has had enough… for the time being, at least.

In a recent interview with Empire, the actress revealed she planned to step away from the cameras once her work has concluded on The Hunger Games. (The film’s final installment, Mockingjay – Part 2, hits cinemas in November 2015.)

The actress added that there's nobody to blame for her hectic workload but herself.

"It’s okay, it’s my fault," she said. "I get little breaks here and there.

"But on the last day of Hunger Games, I’m going to turn my phone off for a year!"

This isn't the first time the actress has hinted at taking a career break. "I’ve built my career. I need to build my human life," she told USA Today last year. "I need to get a house and connect to the people around me and not work for a little while."

Well, if she wants a break, perhaps singing up to star in David O Russell's latest project wasn't the smartest idea. Lawrence is rumoured to star in a biopic about Joy Mangano, the single mother who invented the Miracle Mop in 1990. She went on to become one of America's most successful entrepreneurs.

Lawrence will next be seen as Mystique in Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past.
