John Travolta crashes wedding

It's always good to see Hollywood stars being decent human beings...

So it's particularly heart-warming that John Travolta pitched up at a wedding he'd only been invited to the previous evening... and by complete strangers.

The soon-to-be-wed couple had bumped into Travolta in a bar in Georgia the night before their wedding, with the 'Grease' star posing for pictures with them.

The following day, Travolta turned up at the nuptials and posed for more photos with the bride and groom, and then the entire wedding party.

Travolta was reportedly in Georgia renewing his pilot's licence when he ran into the happy couple.

The pictures then appeared on Reddit, where they quickly gained thousands of hits, with many users pointing out that Travolta appears to be wearing the same clothes from the previous night.

It's the latest in a rash of photos appearing online featuring celebrities in unlikely spots.

Yesterday, pictures emerged of Matt Damon and George Clooney hitting the Kelsey Kerridge Sports Centre in Cambridge, while filming their new movie 'Monument Men'.

Last year, Tom Hanks appeared in a series of photos – which quickly went viral – pretending to be drunk with a group of students at a pizza parlour in North Dakota.

Those pictures rapidly topped one million views and outpourings of respect for the 'Forrest Gump' star.
