Kate Winslet names son Bear

Kate Winslet and husband Ned Rocknroll have finally named their new baby boy... Bear.

Winslet gave birth to her first child with Rocknroll two weeks ago, but has only just revealed the somewhat wild name.

A source told The Sun: “They are all doing so well. They both absolutely adore him - and the name Bear.”

It does, of course, tally with his father's unusual handle.

34-year-old Rocknroll, the nephew of Sir Richard Branson, was born with the rather more sedate moniker Ned Abel Smith, but changed his name by deed poll in 2008.

Winslet already has 13-year-old Mia Honey, who she had with her first husband, director Jim Threapleton, and Joe Alfie, her 10-year-old son with director Sam Mendes.

She married Ned Rocknroll in December 2012.

Let's hope the child isn't grizzly.... sorry.
