A group of dysfunctional cheerleaders from the University of Texas at Austin witness a murder after one of their cheerleading competitions. An aging, hardened Texas Ranger is assigned to the case and must learn to co-exist with the rambunctious girls, while avoiding the gunmen who are determined to knock the girls off before the group can testify.
