Midnight (1939) 

A Parisian dancer works her way into French high society by posing as a Hungarian countess at a well-to-do party. She is then hired by a wealthy noble to lure a gigolo away from his wife. She begins to seduce the handsome gigolo while being loved from afar by a taxi cab driver who knows her true identity. Things get complicated when the group goes to the nobleman's chateau in Versailles and the cab driver appears posing as her husband.
