Mark Wahlberg says 'drunken' Graham Norton show 'taken too seriously'
Actor claims that he had planned his behaviour.
Mark Wahlberg's now infamous appearance on 'The Graham Norton Show' was 'taken too seriously', according to the actor.
Many thought that Wahlberg was drunk when he appeared on Norton's couch in February, alongside guests Sarah Silverman and Michael Fassbender.
At one point, Wahlberg climbed onto Norton's lap and played with the presenter's nipples.

He also interrupted Silverman telling a personal story, and though the pair appeared to make up by the end, she appeared irritated by his behaviour.
But speaking to Digital Spy while doing promotion for his latest film '2 Guns', he suggested that it may have been an act.
“I tried to do a bit, and some people took it a little too seriously,” he said.

Norton too has also recently commented on the appearance, though he seems to think that booze may well have been involved.
“I think the three of us had met a lot of drunk people over the years,” Norton said. “Mark Wahlberg's been on the show before and he's a really lovely guy.
“We've all done that thing where you suddenly realise, 'I'm by far the drunkest person at this dinner party' and you don't know how that happened. It was a bit like that, so I don't judge him harshly at all. It was just a thing.”
Wahlberg isn't the only film star to specialise in awkward interviews of course. See below...
