In my amature opinion, Eddie Murphy is by far the only person that could have pulled this off, so a pat on thre back for the casting crew!

Eddie keeps the knocks from the critics at bay by doing what he does best, ENTERTAIN. which is what i thought movies was all about, guess not then.

time after time, critics rip the guy apart, i say give him a break, to me critics are in one of those proffessions that if taken away, would we miss it...i rest my case, try acting yourself!!

The film was funny, and some what of an unusual story line, abandoned kid grows up to meet and be abused by a fat black lady, well i guess someone had to, but hey!... but he pulled it of none the less full marks there!.

worth the money, good clean fun ( just) and full of what we all need humour.

Eddie has made better films, but also worse one, not unlike any other actor, im sure there's more to come from the comic master, and i look forward to that. family entertainment marked by the laughter in the cinema 100%.

go watch it!.
