In the UK it's A Levels which determine which university or college you attend. In the US, however, it's a different story. As well as requiring stacks of cash, American colleges base their admissions on how well their prospective students do in their SATs (Scholastic Aptitude Test). It's long proved the bane of high school life but, as this caper comedy from Brian Robbins shows, there are other ways of getting 'The Perfect Score'.
The plot itself is pretty formulaic. Kyle (Chris Evans) desperately wants to be an architect, but the low score he's forecast on his SAT means he's unlikely to get into the institution he wants. So along with five co-conspirators, he hatches a plan to nick the exam papers and ace the test.
Fans of the genre will know exactly what to expect here, and in that respect this outing certainly doesn't disappoint, its good-looking youngsters (not to mention Scarlett Johansson and Swimfan's Erika Christensen) making Mission: Impossible look like a walk in the park.
Extras include an audio commentary from Robbins and screenwriter Mark Schwahn, a making-of featurette and the theatrical trailer.
