Five students, 'Scarfies,' at Otago University discover an abandoned house and decide to move in, rent free. Realizing that the basement is being used to grow a large amount of marijuana, the gang decides to sell the crop to some local dealers. But when the owner of the weed returns to find his harvest has been stolen, the students must resort to increasingly violent means in order to keep the man hostage.
