If you thought the Scary Movie franchise was done and dusted after the disastrous Scary Movie 2, think again.

Taking the rise out of a plethora of contemporary flicks, this is actually a whole lot better than it's predecessor. Anna Faris returns as Cindy Campbell who is now a roving reporter for a local TV news channel. But when some mysterious crop circles appear in a nearby field (which read 'Attack Here'), it's up to her to find out their connection to an equally spooky video tape, which apparently deals death to anyone who views it.

The list of movies that get it in the neck here just goes on and on. The obvious parodies include Signs, The Ring, 8 Mile, The Matrix Reloaded and The Others but look closely and you'll also find references to Bruce Almighty, Frailty and Minority Report.

Director David Zucker managed to get a good cast assembled for this outing, while the jokes are exactly what you'd expect: people get hurt, fall over and hit with things but it actually works more often than not and there are laughs to be had. Most will probably agree that Scary Movie is back on track.

The fun doesn't stop with the film either as the delightfully unsubtle jokes continue throughout the extras which include; extended and deleted, sexier, funnier scenes; behind the scenes of the alternative ending; outtakes and bloopers; making Scary Movie... For Real featurette and Making Scary Movie 3 featurette.
