Very few Scooby-philes who saw the first movie based on their 2D heroes had anything good to say about it. A couple of years later and the five members of Mystery Inc. are back - but the question is, have they learned their lesson or are we in for more of the same?

Thankfully, Scooby Doo 2 has a plot in which Mystery Inc. are publicly vilified when an exhibition celebrating their achievements is trashed by a masked baddie, and pretty soon the town of Coolsville is under siege from a band of malicious manifestations. So, can the gang pull it together and save the day or is this the end of the road for the now unpopular Fred (Freddie Prinze Jr), Velma (Linda Cardellini), Daphne (Sarah Michelle Gellar), Shaggy (Matthew Lillard) and Scoobs?

Let's hope it's not the latter because this is a vast improvement on the first Scooby Doo film, not least because the whole thing displays more respect for the original cartoon series. A clutch of ghouls from the TV show appear; Velma loses her glasses; and we even get the legendary 'if it hadn't been for you pesky kids' line.

Extras include deleted scenes, featurettes and music vids.
