Spider-Man made his big budget transition to the silver screen in 2002 and fans who liked the film will love this massive three-disc DVD set.

We all know the story, right? After mild-mannered student Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) is bitten by a genetically-modified spider, he starts to undergo a change,which results in him becoming Spider-Man. As the new superhero on the block, Peter must learn how to handle the pressures of the job, which are made all the more real when The Green Goblin starts to terrorise the city.

Tobey Maguire was a controversial choice for the role of Peter Parker / Spider-Man when director Sam Raimi first cast the flick, but it's now almost impossible to imagine anyone else in the role. Kirsten Dunst is cute and vulnerable as Spidey's love interest, Mary Jane Watson, while Willem Dafoe proves to be a revelation as Norman Osbourne AKA The Green Goblin.
