If this story has just modicums of truth attached to it then consider myself very excited indeed! CHUD is reporting that Eric Bana ("The Other Boleyn Girl" and the forthcoming "Star Trek XI") is to make a surprise turn in Judd Apatow's next comedy/drama about stand-up comics.

"Star Trek" fans are in for a great Christmas present next year as it's been confirmed that the 11th movie in the smash sci-fi franchise will open in cinemas across the pond on December 25th 2008. It's thought the film will be a prequel which centres on the Kirk and Spock's early days at Starfleet Academy.
