Did no one watch revenge of the Sith?

Lets just get in there with the main problem with this storyline, all who have seen Revenge of the sith, the third episode of the star wars 6. No time before Anakin lost his faith in the Jedi order did he have a padawan, as he was not a Jedi master, the whole point of him becoming the latter darth was because the council did not want him to become one. Yet in this film, he has a padawan (teaching someone to become a jedi), worse still is the fact that it is the time when general grevious was about!

totally out of context, and everyone like myself would rather he had bridged the gap after Anakin had become Darth Vader, No more story Lucas says after it got panned in the states, all I can say is George, what about the 20 year gap before A new Hope! Total Dissapointment and definately worth for a DVD release before you waste your money on the big screen!
